Springboard Family Support Service
A home based support service offering family led early intervention and prevention programmes across East Donegal, North West Donegal, Letterkenny and South Inishowen. The service also offers an Afterschool and Parent and Toddler service within the Raphoe area.
Our services include the following:
Family Support
Our family support programme is a home based service. Our family support staff work to increase families’ capacity for self sufficiency in building on strengths, enhancing life skills and strengthening community linkages.
Household Management
Our household management programme supports families with with the planning and management of household challenges such as budgeting, boundaries, routines, housing, social welfare applications and other form filling and signposting to relevant services.
Meitheal
The Meitheal model focuses on identifying a child and families needs and strengths. At the child, family’s invitation, the process brings together practitioners and services to provide the support that the child needs to reach their full potential. Our staff can tell you what Meitheal involves and also act as lead practitioner. The lead practitioner is there to guide the Child/Young Person/Family through the process.
Individual Work
We deliver personal individual work programmes or children and young people inclusive of the following areas:
- Personal development
- Anxiety
- Rainbows
- Sexual Health
Parenting Programmes
The service delivers the following programmes in home and in a group setting:
- Parents Plus Early Years (0 – 7yrs)
- Parents Plus Children’s Programme (8 – 12yrs)
- Parents Plus Teen Programme (12 – 17yrs)
- Parents Plus Special Needs Programme
- Working Things Out Programme
- Parenting When separated Programme
- Circles Of Security Programme
- Parenting Under Pressure
Childcare Service (Raphoe Area)
Our Raphoe service offers the following:
- Parent and toddler Group
- Afterschool Programme
- Holiday programmes
The service is a registered provider under the Túsla ‘School Aged Registration Service’
